Featured Artist Kerri's (Beadworks by Kerri) displays of her unique beaded and bead woven designs. Kerri has an ETSY store, does shows and is constantly pushing her abilities further. You can meet her at the gallery Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There are more photos of her work to follow. Featured Artist Kelly Wilt's "Satyagraha" show of handmade wearable arts from recycled Saris, soaps, greeting cards, purses, bags, decorative items and jewelry. A recent grad and soon to be married, Kelly is expressing her peaceful spiritual ideals into her art and her product line. She imbues herself deeply into what she brings us.
Rachel Chambers continues following her textiles fine art show January through March with small paintings and her recycled jewelry line called green icing. Check out the website Rachel has created for the Gallery, Gallery141.com. The vintage, the edgy the sensitivity to detail and committment to ideals are just a few of the characteristics that make this artists work so interesting to look at again and again.

She joined us for Artwalk this year with more new designs in her wire wrapping extraordinary for its complexity, accuracy and the fine quality of the metals and stones. Kristi knows so much about stones and is very generous with her knowledge. Woven geometric designs, organic swirling designs, sculpted clay faces embellished with leaves, she continues to bring in pieces and customers who appreciate her skill and humor.
To the right here are some of Kerri' White's woven with beaded patterns. I love these. They are so rare and hard to find. Kerri continues to find new ways to make each one unique and just found some cabs at a recent bead show I am sure we will see soon!Outside the gallery the etsy fest is underway!

Aiende Kennedy helped us so much and created the slide show of ETSY artists items used during the festival. He has a workshop in back of the gallery where he fixes and rebuilds computers of all kinds and sells them to anyone in need of a reasonably priced computer! The new Sandersons layout affords more space for meeting and opens up the gallery considerably!Featured artist Carolynn Tucker and her beau (thanks again for being such a great help!) CAROLYNN Took all these PHOTOS!!!! Her wonderful show "Rough Around the Edges" was previewed at Artwalk and now is inside. She has some cool ideas of how to bring her work to us in a variety of new ways, including wearables...don't want to give away too much so come and see!

Mary and I are so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. Especially all the ETSY artists, including our 141 artists, the musicians some of who traveled far for their shows. We hope to post most of those clips here! Aiende for his slide show and MUCH help...all those significan-do others who helped us out with lifting, holding babies and baby sitting at home!, getting us lunch, driving and all their love and support!
We know we can improve this and are looking forward to processing all your suggestions and making sure we don't repeat our mistakes! We feel really sure that as the economy rebounds (visitation was down for this years Artwalk) this event will be really better and better as we get the word out there. Our ETSY expert says it is actually a pretty novel and she said "GENIUS" idea, so we want to continue to be on the cutting edge, supporting ETSY sellers and bringing them into the gallery fold where we feel they belong in any way we can. It was a lot of work but we feel we are onto something! Remember, "The mightiest oak was once just a little nut that held its ground!" Much more to come!
